So the Ravens went into New England and ran all over them.  Brady didn't have a clue and no one to pass to.  Now this week heading into Indy I think they need to do the same thing to Manning and show multiple defenses and try to confuse him where our BLITZ will come from.  Manning may be the BEST master mind at teh QB position of all time, but Baltimore has had a dominating defense for years.  If you DB's can cover the Colt receivers as well as they did against New England our D-Line and Linebackers should have enough time to get to Manning and force a few turnovers.

I am still not confident of our kicking situation as Cundiff has missed some easy kicks in previous weeks.

The Ravens must score on every offensive possession and get a couple turnovers to beat Manning and the Colts.  The entire state of Maryland is behind our Gladiators as they take the field this weekend.  A little help from the football gods wouldn't hurt either.

Show your colors and here is a little joke for you Ravens Fans..

A man goes to the Pittsburgh Steeler ticket office and inquires about purchasing play-off tickets.
The ticket teller replies that there weren't any tickets for sale because the Steelers did not make it to the play-offs.

The following day the same man goes to the Pittsburgh Steeler ticket office and inquires about purchasing Steeler play-off tickets.
The ticket teller politely replies that there weren't any tickets for sale because the Steelers did not make it to the play-offs.

This goes on for an entire week. The man goes to the Steeler ticket office inquiring about play-off tickets and the teller says
none are for sale because the Steelers did not make it to the play-offs.

Another week of this goes by and the man still is asking the ticket teller about Steeler play-off tickets. Finally the ticket teller in a loud voice says,
“I'VE TOLD YOU FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS THERE WERE NOT ANY TICKETS AVAILABLE BECAUSE THE STEELERS DID NOT MAKE THE PLAY-OFFS.”

The man replied, "I know. I drive all the way from Baltimore just to hear you say that!"

Well I am here in Gree Bay, WI and I have done the tour of Lambeau Field and the Packers Hall Of Fame.  I must say what a beautiful stadium.  Hands down it is dedicated to fans of the Packers and visiting teams.  There are so many people wearing the yellow and green but I am so surprised seeing all the purple from the Ravens Fans.  I expect the Ravens will be surprised once they see how many fans have come to Green Bay to see them whip up the Packers.

Weather is suppose to be 20 degrees and snow up to kick off.  I think that will play in the Ravens favor as we need to pund the ball with our running backs and throw the ball less.  Ray Rice should be used in all situations to overcome the Packers.

Pictures to come soon as I am heading to the Tundra Tailgating Zone in a few hours.

With Big Ben and Troy Polamalu out for the Steelers, the Ravens couldn't take it lightly and didn't.  The Steelers had to start 3rd string quarterback Dennis Dixon who had only thrown one pass in regular season.  He reminded me of another talented QB that the Steelers had just a few years ago "SLASH" Cordell Stewart.  I am sure the Ravens haven't seen the last of this young rising star.

Baltimore run game was SUPERB they needs to stick to the ground attack using Leron McClain in some more packages period.  McClain is a beast when it comes time to run the ball up the middle as he gains 5+ yards per carry.  Ray Rice had another super performance and made a key 4th down catch to move the chains.  Willis, well lets just not talk about him now because he looks like he dances side to side to often when its inside the 5 yard line.

Mighty Joe Flacco had his momentsand made some nice passes to his receivers.  The offensive line on the other hand did not protect Mighty Joe all that well.  The offensive line did block very well for the running backs creating huge holes for Rice and McClain to run through.  It also looks like we have found that replacement kicker in Cundiff.  Hopefully he keeps up the good work and puts the ball through the uprights on every attempt.

Lets see how the Ravens fair against the Packers.....

Today the Baltimore Ravens sign veteran kicker Billy Cundiff.  Cunduff does have a strong leg and was kicking for the Browns for several weeks while Phil Dawson was out with a calf injury.  Many people are still wishing the return of Matt Stover, but will the return of Stover really help the Ravens?  As Stover has proven his accuracy inside the 40 many question the strength of his leg for kick-offs and long field goals.  Could the Ravens have beaten the Vikings and the Bengals with Stover kicking?  No one will ever know.

Now the Ravens will face Stover in week 11 as we face the Colts.  Will Stover put the blanket over the eyes of the Ravens?  I wonder if Stover receives a standing ovation when he runs out of the tunnel in week 11.  I hope he does because he was the one willing to play for the Ravens it was management that thought his leg couldn't do it anymore.
