Well the fantasy football season is upon us once again and I would like to hear thoughts on Ravens fantasy values/potentials for 2009. I believe that the Ravens breakdown as follows:

Must Own: Ray Rice, Derrick Mason, Ravens DST
Solid Owns: Willis Magahee, Le'ron McClain, Joe Flacco (2nd QB to start...but if Cameron opens it up, Flacco could be very serviceable low-end #1)
Potential: Todd Heap...it seems his fantasy star power is far behind him, but if the man could just stay healthy he could flourish again w/ the consistent play of Flacco, Heap is only 29 and I strongly believe he is a sleeper for '09.

I did pick the Ravens defense/ST in my fantasy league. I thought they would open it up against the Chiefs in week 1. Hopefully they continue to gel and become a solid defense to start each week.

My brother snatched up Flacco near teh end of the draft. Seeing he threw for over 300 yards and a couple TD's he could be a starting QB in fantasy football.
