Hi, my name is Tim Llewellyn and I belong to Ravens Roost#18 of Glen Burnie, the GREATEST RAVENS ROOST by far. I would like to make a challange to all the other Ravens Roost and Ravens Nest out there to collect food items and give them to your local Food Bank. We have already started by passing the hat at our last meeting and collecting $210 for this, and our charity committe kicked in another $150.
Right now there are so many of our Brothers and Sisters, neighbors, friends out there that really need out help. Thanksgiving is fast approching and I emplore you to Adopt a Family for the Holidays from Social Services, they will set you up with a family in need, then you go to your Roost members and ask for their help by donating food Items at Thankgiving and for Christmas ask them to donate a Gift and a Food Item, what better way to start a Holiday knowing you all made a difference in someone elses Holiday.
Ravens Roost#18 is doing a Food Drive at some of our local area Food Markets, and we are asking other Ravens Roost, Ravens Nest, to pitch in and help out, this will only take a few hours out of 1 of your days and if we work together, maybe we can make a difference, how GREAT will that be.
Dan The Fan will be calling your Presidents to discuss this, I would like to make this a Yearly event, just like Girl Scout Cookies and Boy Scout Popcorn, we can have Ravens Food Drive.
