As an avid Ravens fan and a veteran of the war in Iraq, Joe has been seen wearing his worn out #52 all over the World. After spending an entire year in the desert with nothing but Soldiers from Pittsburgh, he learned to defend the pride of Baltimore with a passion that was unmatched by his Steeler comrade in arms. After returning home to his beloved city, Joe started a "Game Day Fans" group that meets every game day at a locally owned business to cheer their team.

B'more Burlas

I was going to go a week without writing anything but since I am the new guy I am going to try and not represent the Ravens in such an existential light, for now at least.

Everyone can agree that the Ravens didn’t do much the first half of last Sunday’s game. The Vikings dominated as our secondary did little to contain the mighty arm of Brett Favre. I would also like to point out however, that it’s indisputable that we played differently the second half. We turned the tables against all reasonable odds and came back only to lose by a botched kick that went wide-left. It hurts, I know; but what we were looking for happened. That second half showed the Ravens switching gears and coming together to play as the team we know they can be.

Last week I asked you to have faith and continue to ask the same this week. Bleed purple ladies and gents!
